By the Halloween NYC 2026 team (Nine & Up Group LLC) · Updated October 4, 2026

Halloween NYC 2026 is six 21+ parties in New York City, from Thursday, October 29 to Sunday, November 1, 2026, and each one is a different kind of night. Start with the table, then read the section that sounds like you. Every event page has the confirmed times, the venue and the official ticket link.

If You Want a Skyline: Dead Disco or LUNA

Two parties go up to a rooftop, and they bookend the week. Dead Disco at PUBLIC Hotel opens it on Thursday in Manhattan, moving between an indoor micro-club and the roof. LUNA: Day of the Dead closes it on Sunday in Brooklyn. Pick by night, and see our rooftop guide for how to dress for the cold up there.

If the Costume Is the Point: Masquerade Inferno or Heaven & Hell

Masquerade Inferno at LouLou is built around masks and anonymity in a low-lit, intimate room on Friday. Heaven & Hell at Eden is Halloween night itself, with two floors and two themes, so the party answers the costume question for you. Our masquerade style guide covers the first; the what-to-wear guide covers both.

If You Came to Dance: The Descent

The Descent at Submercer is the week's underground night on Friday: deep house, curated lighting and haunting visuals in an intimate room beneath the street. Wear something you can move in.

If You'd Rather Be on the Water: Haunting on the Hudson

Haunting on the Hudson is a Halloween boat party on Saturday night, boarding at Hudson Yards. The exact pier is still to be confirmed, so check the boarding point before you go.

If You Can't Do Another Late Night: LUNA

LUNA is the only party that starts in daylight, at 2 PM on Sunday, November 1. It's the easy pick if your weekend already has late nights in it. Our Day of the Dead guide explains the tradition behind it.

Why Every Event Is 21+

Every Halloween NYC 2026 event is 21+, and you'll need a valid government-issued photo ID at the door. These are late-night nightlife events at bars, clubs and hotel rooftops, not family Halloween activities. If you're planning an all-ages Halloween, these events aren't the right fit.

Want to go out more than once? The night-by-night weekend guide shows how the four nights fit together.
