The night at The Descent
Beneath the streets of SoHo, The Descent transforms Submercer into an intimate Halloween world of deep house, curated lighting, haunting visuals and late-night New York City energy.
The room at Submercer
The Descent takes over Submercer, the room below 147 Mercer St in SoHo. It is an intimate underground space, and the night is built around curated lighting, haunting visuals and late-night New York City energy rather than spectacle.
Who The Descent suits
The Descent suits guests who want a late, music-led Friday downtown, groups who came to dance rather than mingle, and anyone saving Halloween night itself for Saturday but still wanting a Friday that runs until 4:00 AM.
The Descent or Masquerade Inferno?
Both run on Friday, October 30 and both end at 4:00 AM. The Descent is the underground night in SoHo from 10:00 PM. Masquerade Inferno is the masked, candlelit night at LouLou in Chelsea from 9:00 PM, made for ornate masks and costumes. Entry at each is subject to that event's ticket or pass, age, timing, venue and capacity rules.
